Visit exciting and interesting venues on the Hibiscus Coast during your stay with us. Take a trip to Pord Edward for the day and visit craft shops, farm stalls, and enjoy Mac Banana's pancakes and spend the rest of the day on Pord Edward's beach. If the weather is not so good there is the Waterworld, Craig's Wildlife Farm and the Wild Coast . There is also " Lake Eland Game Reserve" ( more info on www.margate.co.za) and U'Shaka Marine World in Durban. The more adventurous can indulge in deep-sea fishing or go golfing at one of our numerous Country Clubs.

Hibberdene:
Hibberdene have a launch site and various charters to choose from. The Hibberdene Couta Classic is held over the Easter weekend every year.
Wander down to the swimming beach - shark netted & life savers on duty - fish off the beach or rocks.
During our fantastically mild winter months you can also watch the amazing annual sardine run (if mother nature obliges).
Alternatively you can go on a whale watching trip - a stunning experience.

Ramsgate:
On a rainy day visit the “The Waffle House” family restaurant for the most delectable warm waffles or just cross the little bridge next to the BP petrol garage “El Gato” for excellent seafood cuisine. They also cater for light lunches for the whole family. On honeymoon or just the two of you, a visit for supper at the “Flavours” restaurant at “The Bistro Village” will be well worth it. Classical cuisine from around the world.
Ramsgate a fairly tranquil little beachvillage offers also a “Spar’ beach shop, chemist, Post Office, “Scooters” a lookout for the “Humpback Whale” or dolphins (opposite the “Greyfish Inn” restaurant) a 2nd swimming beach with a tidal pool, a fish deli “Pearl Fisheries”, “Poppeye’s “ pub, “PC Magic” and on the main beach a picnic area.

Shelly Beach:
“CURVES” have short morning courses to help you keep in shape while on holiday.  
“HIGHLAND FRYER” restaurant offers light affordable seafood brunches/lunches and children’s dishes.

Southbroom:
On route to Southbroom “S’Khumba Crafts” for the best handcrafted leatherwear. Set in one of the few remaining indigenous forests on the coast they also offer a variety of home décor items and windchimes and you can experience the restfulness of the forest Coffee Shop/Bar, or have a family lunch at the “Country Lodge” at their “Cycad” restaurant. Crocodile Café or licensed ”Crocpot” restaurant at the “Riverbend Crocodile Farm” offers a-la-carte menu, all-day breakfasts and sweet treats for the kids. Afterwards browse through the Curio and Craft Shop while the kids are having a tour on feeding the crocodiles. Crocodile feeding on Sundays and Wednesdays.
If you are a keen golf player be sure to stop at best stocked on course Pro Shop in Southbroom. “ Coffee on the Square” have tasty treats and if you feel you need to tone and condition your figure “DC Pilates Studio” is located also at the square. “Riptide” right on Southbroom’s lovely beach offers fully licensed, family seafood and a-la-carte. Back on the main rd a little further on “Buck’s Farm Stall” and the “Tougan Nut Farm”. Overlooking the Umkobi Lagoon “Trattoria La Terrazza” for a tranquil lunch or early supper.

St Michaels on sea:
Most affordable breakfast for the whole family on St Michael’s Beach at Harrison's restaurant. Sit outside watching the breakers while enjoying a healthy muesli bowl, hubby a sustained breakfast of bacon/juicy rump steak, egg, chips and toast and the kids pancakes or waffles.

Uvongo:
